USG-Umweltservice GmbH was founded in 1996 to implement the leading SEG Cooling appliances demanufacturing technology on the Austrian market for the protection of the ozone layer.
Pioneering in quality standards
A quality standard for cooling appliance demanufacturing was jointly worked out with all stakeholders on the basis of transparent practical experiences and enshrined in Austrian law. The corresponding law set the minimum standard and ensured fair competitive conditions.
First stationary cooling appliance demanufacturing plant
With this law, the foundation stone was also laid for the joint investment of Energie AG Oberösterreich Umwelt Service GmbH and USG in the first stationary SEG cooling appliance demanufacturing plant System in 4850 Timelkam. The plant has been awarded the RAL quality mark . It still represents a reference for high-quality cooling appliance demanufacturing and has been built with the same modular construction in many European countries by SEG with its JV partners.
Marketing of post-consumer plastic regranulate
The strong growth of SEG JV partners, with a current capacity of over 3.3 million cooling appliances, led to a specialisation in which USG-Umweltservice GmbH, in the group, focussed on the marketing of plastics from cooling appliance demanufacturing.
Post-consumer material from Europe directly from the producer
With the group of companies in the background, USG-Umweltservice GmbH is not only a dealer, but is itself also a producer and supplies the plastics processing industry directly, without intermediary trade – exclusively with post-consumer regranulate from Europe. Thanks to this closed system, customers benefit from high security of supply with guaranteeing of the supply chain.
