Post-consumer material directly from the producer
The high-quality, sustainable, post-consumer ABS and polystyrene (PS) ECO regranulates are created through the demanufacturing of end-of-life refrigerators in our “urban mines”.
Together with our customers, we are thus already implementing the climate-positive circular economy for the generations to come, in an exemplary way.
Our granulate is obtained 100 percent from post-consumer (i.e. used) material in Europe. This is transparently documented with the “EuCertPlast” Certificate – which is the basis of the “Blue Angel” environmental label product certificate.
USG-Umweltservice GmbH: raw material of the future
USG-Umweltservice GmbH was founded in 1996 to implement the leading SEG cooling appliance demanufacturing systems technology for the protection of the ozone layer on the Austrian market – with success! The strong growth with the SEG JV partners led to specialisation in which USG-Umweltservice GmbH, in the group, focussed on the marketing of plastics from cooling appliance demanufacturing.
With this group of companies in the background, USG-Umweltservice GmbH is not only a trader but is itself also a producer and supplies the plastics processing industry directly without intermediary trade – exclusively with post-consumer regranulate from Europe. Customers benefit from high security of supply with guaranteeing of the supply chain.
Climate protection thanks to demanufacturing
Recycling up to more than 90 percent of the material from cooling appliances, gaining new raw materials from these, e.g. ECO PS, ECO ABS or ÖKO PUR, and feeding them back into the business cycle, while completely collecting and destroying all climate-damaging gases: this is our active contribution to climate protection for the coming generations!
